Waterjel 10x10 cm

The WaterJel compress offers immediate First Aid for burns. The burn is cooled by transferring the heat from the damaged skin to the hydrogel in the WaterJel compress. The heat does not remain in the gel, but is released into the environment. The heat from the burn is therefore quickly dissipated. The WaterJel compress also protects the burn against harmful bacteria, thus preventing infections. The WaterJel compress can be used as an alternative in locations where no water is present or as a supplement to cooling with (preferably lukewarm) water.

IMPORTANT: Never cover the compress with plastic or thick bandages. If necessary, with one layer of fixation bandage. If you cover it, it will lose its effect as described above. The hydrogel must be able to evaporate.
