The SICH tourniquet was developed in response to the problems encountered by the Ukrainian army during the use of the most common tourniquets. Tourniquets have been used in warm areas for the last few years (since "the war on terror"). Since 2014, the battlefield of Ukraine has shown a different picture of the necessity of tourniquets in areas that are colder and where "good" medical chains are not always present. Conventional tourniquets soon turned out to be unsuitable especially in cold and wet weather conditions and semi trench conditions. This created the demand for a tourniquet that functioned better under these circumstances. SICH has come up with the SICH tourniquet. The SICH tourniquet is the preferred tourniquet of the army of Ukraine and performs better in the extreme weather conditions. A high level of civilian casualties and children has ensured that the SICH can also be used on children as the only tourniquet. Now that the SICH has proven its usefulness and importance, the advance of this tourniquet towards the other countries starts.
