Eye shield

The Eye shield from BVI is a transparent, single sterile wrapped eye shield for traumatic eye injury. Within the TFR and FAUD course this product is often used to dress up the eye. The specially designed ventilation holes ensure that ventilation remains possible and the eye remains protected against external influences. In case of damage to the eye, eye fluid can escape. If you then use a normal gauze to bind the eye, it can happen that this gauze literally sucks the eye fluid out of the eye. Therefore always use a BVI Eye shield to protect the eye well. The TCCC and TECC recommend the using of an eye shield for traumatic eye injury.
