The CAT ® is now the most used turnstile in the world. Virtually all NATO countries use this tourniquet as a fixed piece of equipment for their soldiers. The CAT ® was developed after a study showed that, in violent conflicts, the main cause of death among "preventable deaths" had died of bleeding.
